A longtime resident of Door County, he attended Sturgeon Bay High School where he was a highly successful member of the swim team. Scott had many adventures and endeavors throughout his life. He will be remembered for his sharp wit and ability to repair almost anything. Arvin was a faithful and loving husband and devoted father. Together they raised five children, Craig, Blane, Darci, Deb and Daren. He married the love of his life, Judi Marie Haen in 1960 culminating in over 63 years of happy marriage. He lived his entire life in Door County, graduating from Sevastopol School and working for local companies including Santa Rose Shoe, Peterson Builders and Emerson Electric.
